Low Qts for excellent performance in ported box. F3 as low as 30 Hz naturally in 2.75 cf3 (see below). The Revelator woofers and subwoofers feature very rigid cones in paper or aluminium that operate as a piston over a wide frequency range, in combination with Scan-Speak's low-loss linear suspension and the patented Symmetrical Drive (SD-1) results in very low distortion and a smooth and well behaved frequency response as well as perfect transient reproduction.

The Scan-speak 26W/8861T is a new addition to the Revelator line. This robust 10" woofer was designed to provide deep and accurate bass in a small enclosure. This woofer features a 2" voice coil on a titanium former, a low loss linear suspension and symmetric drive motor. The deep set hard paper cone is attached to the frame with a minimal reflection rubber surround. The 9mm X-max ensures good linear travel.
